Insect Nirupan+ – Organic Pest & Disease Control | Neem & Garlic Extract Formula

Mix 100 ml with 1 kg subsoil + 10 L clean water, filter with cotton cloth, and spray on leaves, branches, and stems every 15–20 days.

🌱 Mode of Action (Based on Active Ingredients)

  • Neem Extracts – Insect growth regulator, antifeedant, and repellent. Effective against chewing and sucking pests.

  • Garlic Extracts – Natural antibacterial and antifungal properties; disrupts feeding and reproduction of pests.

  • Paraffin Oil & Sunflower Oil – Work as suffocating agents, blocking breathing pores (spiracles) of insects and eggs.

  • Calcium Hydroxide (lime water) – Alters pH on leaf surface, making it unsuitable for fungi, some bacteria, and viral vectors.

🐛 Effective Against Pests

  • Chewing insects: Caterpillars, grasshoppers, leaf miners.

  • Sucking insects: Aphids, whiteflies, thrips, mealybugs, scales, jassids, mites.

  • Borers: Stem borer, fruit borer (to some extent).

  • Egg & larval stages: Oils suffocate eggs and early larvae.

🍂 Fungal Diseases Controlled/Prevented

  • Powdery mildew

  • Downy mildew

  • Leaf spot (Alternaria, Cercospora)

  • Anthracnose

  • Early blight, Late blight (partially, when sprayed preventively)

  • Rust (mild control, mainly preventive)

🦠 Bacterial & Viral Impact

  • Bacterial leaf blight, bacterial spots – Suppressed by garlic’s antibacterial properties.

  • Viral diseases (e.g., mosaic viruses, leaf curl viruses) – Does not directly kill virus, but:

    • Reduces spread by killing/control of vectors (aphids, whiteflies, thrips).

    • Maintains plant strength, improving tolerance.

Summary

👉 This formula works as a broad-spectrum organic pest and disease control spray.

  • Controls sucking & chewing pests (aphids, whiteflies, thrips, mites, caterpillars).

  • Suppresses fungal diseases (powdery mildew, downy mildew, blights, rust, leaf spot).

  • Reduces spread of viruses indirectly (by controlling insect vectors).

  • Has preventive rather than strong curative action – best when sprayed every 15–20 days.
